Suicide Prevention & Awareness Walk

When & Where: September 16th at the Quinter High School Track

Time: Walk from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Opening prayer at 7:00 pm
Registration starting at 5:30 pm – Register in advance to receive a free T-shirt which is provided by Gove County Medical Center. If registering on the day of the event, shirts will be available while supplies last.

There will also be items for a raffle that will be in the High School cafeteria area. Raffle tickets: 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5.00 – Available at registration. Raffle winners will be announced after luminary names.

Luminaries are available to honor your loved one who has lost the battle to suicide or someone you would like to honor who is struggling and fighting their own battle with depression or suicidal thoughts. The announcement of names on luminaries will be at 8:00 pm. Please click the button below to view the luminary choices. Luminaries are $3.00 each and can be paid for at check-in.

Registration is free of charge. Free will donations will be accepted and appreciated. Registration Deadline September 7th.

ALL FUNDS RAISED WILL BE USED TO SERVE THE URGENT BEHAVIOR HEALTH NEEDS OF THE PATIENTS AND FAMILIES SERVED IN THE GCMC REGION.
