Suicide Prevention & Awareness Walk

When & Where: September 21st at the Quinter City Park

Time: Walk from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Registration starting at 5:30 pm – Register in advance to receive a free T-shirt which is provided by Operation Hope & Gove County Medical Center. If registering on the day of the event, shirts will be available while supplies last.

There will also be a silent auction, a kids raffle, and Suicide Prevention & Awareness items to purchase. All kids 12 and under who register will receive 5 raffle tickets for a chance to win the kids raffle!

Luminaries are available to honor your loved one who has lost the battle to suicide or someone you would like to honor who is struggling and fighting their own battle with depression or suicidal thoughts. The announcement of names on luminaries will be at 8:00 pm. Pick up a bag at Gove County Medical Center, Bluestem Clinic or contact Ruth Blackwill at 785-673-3126 or 785-754-5148. Please click the button below to view the luminary choices. Luminaries are $3.00 each and can be paid for at check-in. To register online, fill out the information below and mail your check to Gove County Medical Center c/o Ruth Blackwill P.O. Box 129 Quinter, KS 67752. Alternatively, you can print off and fill out a registration at the luminary button below or pick up a registration form at GCMC or Bluestem Clinic and mail it or drop it off by AUGUST 21ST.

Registration is free of charge. Free will donations will be accepted and appreciated. Registration Deadline AUGUST 21ST.

ALL FUNDS RAISED WILL GO TO “OPERATION HOPE” TO HELP SERVE THE URGENT BEHAVIOR HEALTH NEEDS FOR PATIENTS AND FAMILIES HERE IN NORTHWEST KANSAS.
