Gove County Medical Center Visitor Information
At GCMC, we recognize that a strong support system is important to our patient’s recovery; therefore, spouses, parents, and ministry may visit you at any time.
We welcome friends and other relatives to visit according to the schedule listed below.
To ensure that our patients are able to get much-needed rest in order to recover, we ask that visitors be limited to no more than 3 at a time.
In an effort to keep the noise level down, we ask that visitors be as quiet as possible and refrain from congregating in the hallway outside patient rooms. Visitors and family members may relax in our Sunroom when they are not in the patient’s room.
Children under 12 years of age shall not be admitted as visitors to the hospital except in the company of a responsible adult. Children under 6 years of age shall be admitted as visitors only when authorized by the attending physician or professional nurse charged with the responsibility for the care of the patient, or the CEO.
Door Locking Policy
In an effort to provide a safe environment for our patients, residents, visitors, and staff, GCMC has limited the number of doors in which you can enter our facility.
