The Gove County Medical Center Laboratory Department offers a wide range of tests with state of the art instrumentation to help your provider monitor your health, diagnose an illness and treat diseases. Our goal is to provide high quality care to our patients while obtaining specimens and delivering accurate test results in a timely manner.
Gove County Medical Center appreciates the opportunity to provide quality laboratory testing at an economical price through community / business-sponsored health fairs. They are scheduled quarterly in the surrounding communities of Gove County by the Gove County Health Department

Direct Access Testing
Direct Access Testing is available on a walk-in basis at Gove County Medical Center Laboratory Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m-4:00p.m. Appointments and provider orders are not required. Convenient hours, low cost and minimal wait times make it easy to keep tabs on your health. Patients can access their DAT results through the GCMC Patient Portal. It is the patient’s responsibility to share their test results with their provider.
Patient Care Services
GCMC’s Laboratory staff routinely cares for inpatients, out-patients, emergency room patients and referrals from out of town providers. The Laboratory staff is proud to serve patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
