General Public Transportation Vans

If you are in need of a ride to your doctor’s appointment, shopping, the bank or other locations, give GCMC a call. GCMC’s General Public Transportation Van can provide transportation to your destination. Transportation services are available to the public to destinations within a 90-mile radius of Quinter, Kansas. Exceptions to the 90-mile limit may be approved for special circumstances. Trips are limited to Kansas only. A twenty-four-hour notice helps but is not required. Any notice is dependent on driver availability. All trips are subject to cancellation based on weather conditions, high winds or emergencies.

ELIGIBILITY:
General Public
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

WHEN AVAILABLE:

• Monday thru Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Saturday – 8:00am to 12:00pm
  
  WHERE:
  Trips may be scheduled to destinations in Kansas within a 90-mile radius of Quinter.
  
  SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:
  The vans are equipped with either a wheel-chair lift or ramp.

Rides are not available on the following holidays:

• Labor Day
• Memorial Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Fourth of July
• Christmas Day
