GCMC Scholarship Program

THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS CLOSED FOR THE YEAR AND WILL RE-OPEN NEXT YEAR

The purpose of the Gove County Medical Center Scholarship Program is to provide funds to those current employees and future employees who wish to evolve their careers through higher education. The GCMC scholarship program is multi-purposed, in that it creates higher educated employees, reduces expenses, retains the population of Gove county, and recruits new people from outside of Gove county. The approval of each scholarship application will be dependent upon the high vacancy rate of the position desired.

To receive financial educational assistance, applicants will follow the procedures listed here:

– All scholarship applications will be completed online only.
– After completion of the interview, the applicant will be notified whether or not they will be receiving financial educational assistance from GCMC.
– Forgiveness will be based on a dollar amount per hours worked to meet employment obligations.
– Default repayment of funds shall be paid in full plus 5% compounded interest from the termination date of the employee.
