COVID-19 Information

Due to the recent COVID-19 cases in Gove County, Gove County Medical Center is stopping all visitations facility-wide with the exception of end of life effective 8-24-20. Because the nature of this pandemic is fluid, it can affect the hospital’s policies from day to day. We understand the frustration and disappointment that these changes can cause. Gove County Medical Center’s primary focus is the safety of our patients and our staff and these precautions will ensure that safety. For the most up-to-date information on visitation policies to the hospital or COVID-19 information, please refer to the GCMC Facebook page or the Gove County Covid-19 Information Page.

If you have a fever, cough, runny nose, difficulty breathing, or body aches, please stay home. Our specialty clinics are still seeing patients for all procedures. All patients MUST enter through the Emergency entrance of the hospital. Once there, you will need to pick-up the phone and call the nurses station to state your purpose for entry. Someone will then let you in and you will be screened. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please call first before coming to the hospital. Masks are mandatory within the hospital. You are welcomed to bring your own mask or one will be provided for you.
